Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. have gained promotion to the English Premier League (EPL) after Huddersfield Town were held to a 1-1 draw by Derby County in the English Championship.
Brighton beat Wigan Athletic 2-1 to move seven points clear at the top of the table.
The South-Coast club can now start preparing for life in the top division again, following their relegation in 1982-1983 and subsequent journey down and back up the leagues.
They need three more points to clinch the Championship title and will be crowned champions if they win at Norwich on Friday.
